Maybe the Most Dangerous Hike in the World

We've done a lot of hikes, but this one may be the most dangerous hike in the world when it comes to day hikes we've done. The Hardergrat in Switzerland is similar to the Brienzergrat and Brienzersee, though it's a ridge line hike; one of the most dangerous hikes in the world with 25 KM of ascents and descents and death memorials along the way.

The route will take you about 10 hours, and we recommend you climb from Brienz towards Interlaken. This will result in a nice chill forest walk at the end; you'll just need to take the coal powered steam train up the ridge and buy a funicular ticket down near Interlaken.

It's an amazing day hike, take lots of water and food, and be ready to have a fantastic time.
