Japanese Soldier's Last Day
Piecing together the last day of this Japanese WWII soldier in this small cave in Saipan. Every cave in Saipan was occupied and defended by the Japanese soldiers and the artifacts they left behind, when they died in the caves, are still there. These caves were also used by the ancient Chamorros as well and their 1,000-3,000 year-old artifacts sit side-by-side with the 70 year-old artifacts.
