WWII Ruins On Naftan
It took U.S. soldiers 9 days of fighting in WWII to secure Nafutan Peninsula in Saipan. There were a thousand Japanese soldiers defending Nafutan and at the end of the 9 days there were no Japanese survivors. Nothing has changed there for the past 65 years making Naftan Peninsula perfect for the boonie stomper, WWII buff, and view seeker, however, I have rarely seen anyone there. Learn and see more:
