Authorities said a 34-year-old woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at approximately 2:55 a.m. near the intersection of Malcolm X Boulevard and Canton Street in Dallas. According to preliminary reports, the woman was on foot when she was reportedly struck by a southbound vehicle. Officials said the driver allegedly left the scene following the collision.
