63-Year-Old Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident on St. Francis Avenue in Amarillo

Amarillo, TX — June 21, 2026: Authorities said a 63-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on St. Francis Avenue (State Loop 335) just east of the River Road intersection at approximately 10:15 p.m. According to officials, the man was riding an eastbound Honda motorcycle when, for reasons that have not yet been released, the motorcycle reportedly failed to maintain its lane and collided with a westbound Mitsubishi Outlander. No other injuries were reported. Additional information about the circumstances surrounding the accident has not yet been released. The incident remains under investigation.
