We hit bottom of this old abandoned farm metal detecting and exploring NH

Metal detecting cellar holes in New Hampshire is always an interesting activity. We get to explore, hike, detect and find things of the past. In this video we did some cellar ole metal detecting first at a huge colonial homesite. This place was built in the 1700s and lived upon into the 1800s. The foundation was huge and had two chimneys. We found some very cool iron relics and moved on to exploring the woods. We came upon what looked like an early settlers site way out there. A very small cellar with about an acre of old stone walls closing the yard in. Not mush in the ground but we did get a 1700s pewter spoon which is amazing. We ventured out further down the old road and found this huge boulder which had the names of the deed holders etched into it. A massive rock with names carved in the side going back to the 1700s.....wow ! talk about the find of the day. 17002, 1800s names carved in stone ! We hit the bottom of this old farm when we hiked to the outer edges and found ourselves way down in a swamp.
