American Bandstand – November 11, 1967 – FULL EPISODE

If you were one of the lucky 25% of American households to have a color TV in November of 1967, this is what this episode might have looked like. All of the added commercials, except Mustang ’68, ran on American Bandstand at about this time.

I think my then middle-aged grandpa saw the Mustang ad in ‘68 as he bought a new, white, Mustang convertible, just like the one shown at the end, in ’69. (we still have it)

The film in the opening titles (from lahistory1 on YT) shows a car driving west on the Sunset Strip, and is about 7 miles west of Prospect Studios where today’s episode was taped.

I would love to see Little Dion’s performance, but this was the best I could do. Anyone know whatever happened to him?

It’s good to be back! I hope everyone is safe and healthy. Watching the news nowadays reminds me of a certain song by Barry McGuire. I think there could easily be another verse made about the turbulent summer of ’20. Better days ahead.
