Platypus perfection.

Today marks the second anniversary of our platypus pair, Eve and Birra, moving to San Diego Zoo Safari Park. They are currently the only platypuses that reside at a zoo outside of Australia and are helping researchers better understand monotreme behavior.

To learn more about platypuses in the wild, San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance pledged an ongoing commitment of funds to field conservation of the species.
