NUMBER 1 THING TO DO IN CROATIA - EXPLORE THE ISLANDS & FAMOUS BLUE CAVES!

We start the day by leaving Lapad in Dubrovnik to head out on a boat and explore the Elaphite Islands in Croatia.

Before we get to the islands we stop off to see the famous blue caves and jump in the sea to swim inside the caves to experience this natural beauty created by the sea.

The first island we explore is the island of Kolocep which is very small and on a sunny day would be a beautiful spot to relax on the beach, we didn’t have beach weather at the start of the day so we decided to wander around and find some views before heading back to our boat for some lunch.

The second island we visited was Sipan island which is famous for it’s olive oil and vineyards, so naturally we tried both!

By the time we reached Lopud island the weather had warmed up a bit and after exploring some of the nature on foot we decided to head over to the well known sandy Sunj beach, totally worth heading over to the other side of the island for a few hours of peace surrounded by the beauty offered on this tiny island in Croatia.
