Don’t let these trip you up!

'Fa senso' doesn’t mean 'it makes sense', it ACTUALLY means 'to disgust', for example
‘I millepiedi MI FANNO SENSO’ (Centipedes DISGUST ME)

'Ha senso' is what is used to say 'it makes sense', for example
‘Ahh, capito. HA SENSO’ (Ahh, got it. It MAKES SENSE)

The word 'Senso' comes from the verb 'SENTIRE' which in italian means 'to feel, to hear and to sense'
