The No. 2-ranked UFC lightweight lost his composure as time expired, shoving Poullas to the mat and throwing punches — instantly triggering mayhem inside the venue. Within seconds, more than a dozen people flooded the mat as officials, cornermen, and others attempted to separate the fighters while additional scuffles broke out in the crowd.

The situation escalated so quickly that former three-time UFC title challenger Colby Covington had to escort Poullas backstage amid chants of “USA” from the audience.
