Shadra Strickland, illustrator, artist, and winner of the 2011 Ashley Bryan Children's Literature Award, answers questions from 4th and 5th grade students at Deerwood Academy as a part of the Ashley Bryan Traveling Exhibit of Illustrated Africana Children's Literature sponsored by the NBAF, presenters of the National Black Arts Festival.
