Sweet Alyssum in a Nine hole terra cotta pot

When we first moved here, we bought a 9 hole pot at home depot to put strawberries in...those eventually died and we never bothered to get more, but I kept the pot as it was cool, and when I looked there were never ones that had that many holes for sale. So the pot has just been sitting around in our yard on the indoor rolling stand that I used for it. I had drilled a number of small holed in the based of that for the water to drain out, and put sand and old aquarium gravel under the pot to not only help keep it from wobbling, but to keep from having a pool of water that mosquitos could grow in.

So today I got two six packs of the pink sweet alyssum and this video is the quick project to add the flowers into the pot. Since they were only good for one more use and I had some minor skin cracks that I did not want to get dirt in on my fingers, I used the rubber gloved from toasting and putting the finish on the outdoor wood plant stand. That worked great and kept my fingers clean, and shredded the gloves, but they did what they needed to do.
