How to perform E.L.D.O.A T9-T10.
• Start by sitting on the floor, with both knees bent.
• Extend one leg straight out to about 25 to 35 degrees out to the side.
• Extend the same side arm above the head, with elbow in complete extension and hand in external rotation.
• The heel of the opposite foot is as close as possible to the sitting bone.
• The Contralateral (opposite side) arm with the hand resting on the thigh, this arm will be relaxed at all times.
• Flatten the entire spine.
• Push the head back to straighten. Push the arch of the foot to the ground.
• Lift the heel of the extended leg from the floor and internally rotate the ankle.
• Create an extension of the spine from the sitting bone to the top of the head. Push the extended arm and leg away from the body strongly.
• Hold the posture for the indicated time, and perform the number of reps and sets as suggested, alternating from the left to right side of the body.
