Dangerous driving returns to Lamb and Hacienda despite county fixes

Neighbors in a Las Vegas community said reckless driving has returned to the intersection of Lamb and Hacienda, more than a year after Clark County took steps meant to deter donuts and speeding.

“I'm livid, I’m absolutely livid,” Steven Vaden, who lives in the Grapevine Springs community near the intersection said.

Clark County crews came in December 2024 and milled part of the asphalt, a process that removes parts of the street to rough up the road surface, and installed speed humps after years of complaints made by neighbors and News 3 reporting. Vaden said the work helped but the problem returned toward the end of November 2025.
