Airbnb ramps up holiday weekend protections to stop party bookings in Las Vegas

Las Vegas may be known as the entertainment capital of the world, but short-term rental homeowners say the parties should stay in nightclubs and bars — not spill into residential neighborhoods.

Jacqueline Flores, an Airbnb owner and the founder of the Greater Las Vegas Short Term Rental Association, said she makes expectations clear with guests before they arrive.

“I’m always very up front in letting them know that this house is a place to stay; these are not places where they can have a nightclub or disruptive activities,” Flores said.
