4K AUTUMN LEAVES CINEMATIC VIDEO ● GOPRO HERO 8

Welcome everyone! I would love to develop my skills in making cinematic videos. I am a total beginner and am inspiring myself by watching other cinematic videos on youtube. I would like to learn the tricks that advanced youtubers use to make awe inspiring videos, without taking too many shortcuts.

In this video I use a GoPro Hero 8 to take some 4k shots in my back garden. All of these shots are handheld, using a short stick to hold my GoPro. This was edited in Final Cut Pro, without using any plugins or luts. I used speed ramps, played around with different kinds of transitions and did some basic colour grading. The letterbox effect also helps to give that cinematic look.
