Exploring the Lincoln Memorial with Olongapo Firefighters in Washington DC

Join us as we take a short video of our visit to one of the most iconic landmarks in the United States, the Lincoln Memorial. In this video, the Olongapo Firefighters finally fulfilled their childhood dream of taking a picture with Abraham Lincoln.

Despite the hot and humid weather, we didn't let it stop us from walking the whole path to the sitting statue of Abraham Lincoln. This was a historic moment for the Sister City Program of Olongapo City and Virginia Beach as the first Filipino firefighter delegates climbed up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

We are grateful to our Filipino friends who gave us this opportunity as a reward for becoming the first international graduates of the Virginia Beach Fire and EMS Training Center. We loved every moment of this trip, and we hope you will enjoy this short video as well.
