On the night of the 65th Grammy Awards telecast, Sunday, February 5, 2023, the Morrison Hotel Gallery at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood hosted a celebration honoring Henry Diltz.

The legendary photographer and Gallery founding partner had received a Grammy Trustees Award from the Recording Academy the previous night, recognizing his significant contributions to visually documenting American popular music since the mid-1960s.

The Gallery and hotel lobby were tightly packed with friends and well-wishers for nearly three hours. At one point, across the lobby in the likewise packed bar, Micky Dolenz led the crowd in a congratulatory toast to his longtime friend.
