G43 K43 Dust Cover Replacement

The sliding dust cover prevents dirt and dust from entering the G43 bolt assembly. It's a stamped sheet metal part made from spring steel, with four tabs holding it in place. Generally, there is no need for removing the dust cover for maintenance or cleaning but if it should become necessary, taking advantage of the flexibility of the bolt housing results in a lesser chance of breaking the cover compared to prying it off with a screw driver of knife blade.
