Canada’s National Skateway Could Have Been A... Highway
The Rideau Canal Skateway is one of the most iconic features of Ottawa, the capital of Canada, but for the first time in its history it won't be open for skating this year. Because we know that a lot of people are missing this quintessential winter experience, we thought we’d take you on a tour of the skateway recorded last year and tell the tale of how it almost got turned into a highway.
