DEPRESSION AND EXERCISE | A Simple Workout

This is a video for any person suffering with depression and anxiety that would like to start exercising but not sure how.

When suffering with depression and anxiety, most people know that exercise is a great way to fight back and help but the motivation and energy isn't there. This video gives a few tips plus a simple workout to do that will hopefully increase your motivation over time.

The workout consists of 7 exercises performed at 10 repetitions per exercise and they include:

- Star Jumps
- Squats
- Push-Ups
- Lunges
- Mountain Climbers
- Back Raises
- Plank

It is also vital to look at what you are eating to make sure the energy is there to exercise. Try to reduce your intake in sugar and processed foods and eat more vegetables, meats, fish, nuts etc and drink more water.

If you really feel like you need to start even more basic then find a nice walking route to do each day and set yourself a time limit for walking. It may not seem like a lot but it would be a huge help.
