aquí el día de hoy presento una canción que Brian Wilson compuso en 1965, primero llamada "Sandy" sin completar más que la base musical y el coro, luego en 1976 intentaría completar esa base (con su voz rasposa 'estrenada" en 15 Big Ones) bajo el título de "Sherry, She Needs Me" que permanecería inédita hasta 2012 en el 50 aniversario de la banda y, alrededor de 1987, Brian haría OTRO intento titulado "Terry, She Needs Me" que, para sorpresa de nadie, no llegó a nada.

luego en 1998, se llamó a la compositora Carol Bayer Sager (quien ha colaborado con personas de la talla de Burt Bacharach, Christopher Cross, Elton John, Celine Dion o Babyface) para escribir una nueva letra ya que, al parecer, la letra original de Wilson era bastante pobre. Brian Wilson llamaría al trabajo de Bayer Sager como "genial" y "maravilloso" en entrevistas de la época.

¿que puedo decir? para mí, es la mejor canción en Imagination.

aunque la producción escueta de Joe Thomas abunda en la canción, se puede sentir muy en el fondo la magia y el genio de Brian Wilson.

a Wilson no le gusta para nada Imagination. recuerda no haber tenido ningún momento alegre en el. paranoia y fantasias de muerte lo rodeaban. no le gusta el sonido de la música en si ni el de su voz en el álbum.
después del desastre que fue en 1996 "Stars and Stripes Vol. 1", y viendo el resultado de este álbum, Wilson DEMANDARÍA a Thomas para no volver a trabajar con el y por daños y enriquecimiento ilícito (.-.) que se arregló, cómo no, fuera de la corte.
dejarían de trabajar hasta 2012, dónde colaborarían de nuevo para el álbum "That's Why God Made The Radio" y de nuevo en 2015 para el álbum en solitario de Wilson "No Pier Pressure", el PEOR álbum de su carrera a mi parecer.
