If we were ever able to shrink and be the size of an insect, we would be fit to go on one of the most amazing journeys - and perhaps it would be the most amazing and eye opening experience ever: a journey inside the human body. We would be able to explore every single bone, muscle, and all the organs that make us function. While that’s a bit of a crazy idea and not really a possibility that we know of yet, we do have technology that allows us to have a look inside our bodies. X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans and many other practices can help us and our doctors see how the organs in our body work. But every now and then, people have found a few random things that were not supposed to be there - things you wouldn’t expect to find inside anyone’s body. Today we’ll be looking at “10 things found in people” ; all of them are unexpected and a lot of them were quite threatening to the people who had them. I also think you’ll find some of them to be quite funny. Stay with me all the way to number and find out what’s the craziest thing to have been found in someone’s body. I’ll give you a clue: it was not in the person’s stomach, and it was alive!

A Plant

If you swallow a bunch of seeds, would a bunch of plants grow inside of you? Well, you might get indigestion but they would need some sunlight for them to actually grow and become proper plants. However, there are actual cases of people that had a plant grow inside of them to the point that it was threatening their health and here's one of those stories. Around the year 2011, a 75 year old man was dealing with some problems in his lungs until finally, his left lung collapsed. The doctors first diagnosis linked the problem to a possible tumor, but they were shocked to see the actual cause of the problem: there was a pea plant growing inside his lung. The doctors believe this happened after the man swallowed a pea and went to his lungs instead of his stomach. Quite odd, don't you think? Luckily, the man was able to recover!

The Moving Mole

I have a lot of interesting findings on this list but we don't have to go that deep into the human body to look for strange objects! Sometimes, these things are right in front of our eyes - like the moving mole that Doctor Joshua Zeichner had to treat in his New York City clinic. It all started when a woman came to him regarding a mole on her skin that kept bugging her and according to her, it kept changing. When the doctor had a closer look, he realized it was not only changing, but it was actually moving. That's because the mole was actually a tick! It had found a home under the woman's skin, but the doctor was successful at taking it out! I guess there's no such thing as moving moles, so make sure you go see a doctor if you ever spot one on your skin!
A Pencil

After years of headaches and a deteriorating right eye vision, a 24-year-old man in Germany and his doctors were finally able to determine the cause of his problems: a 10 centimeter long pencil that had been stuck in his head (literally) for about 15 years. How did the pencil end up there? Even the man couldn't answer this question, but he does remember an accident that happened when he was a kid. I wonder what kind of accident that was! He was lucky enough to find doctors that were able to perform a very unusual medical procedure to get that pencil out.

The Engagement Ring

How far would you go to show your significant other how much you love them? Well, I don't think there's a story that can top the one I'm about to share with you.

It all started when a man found the perfect engagement ring at a jewelry shop in the UK. However, there was a problem - the ring was quite expensive, so he came up with a plan. He decided to swallow the ring when no one was watching him, but of course, the person in charge of the shop had a bad feeling about this.

The Keys

Are you one of those who always lose their keys? It's quite uncomfortable and worrying to know you might not be able to go back inside your place unless you find them. That's why some people come up with creative ways to keep their keys safe and handy, but the human body is definitely not an option. Someone should had told this to the unlucky college student who swallowed his set of keys.
