Pololu Valley Hike, Hawaiian Pancakes, & Shelter Dog Field Trip | Big Island Day 3

On our third day on the Big Island, we ventured north to explore more of the Kohala and Hamakua Coast regions. We had MASSIVE pancakes, explored Pololu Valley and Waipio Valley, and ate shave ice, but the highlight of our day was taking a shelter dog out on a field trip! We took Bucky from the Waimea location of Hawaii Island Humane Society and had the best time hiking and cuddling with him. We love you Bucky!
