CHEAP AND SIMPLE YOUTUBE STUDIO SETUP

This video is a broad overview of how I built my Workshop Youtube Studio using cheap, off-the-shelf components. I came up with a solution for very cheap, multiple inexpensive cameras for YouTube.

I used:

- An old laptop,
- A used 1080p wifi-enabled Digital Video Camera (DVC)
- 3 ieGeek home security cameras.
- OBS Studio broadcasting software.

I use OBS Broadcasting software (which is free, open-source software) to capture the video clips from the 3 ieGeek cameras. This works well. I then collate all the video clips from the various camera's into the cloud (iCloud or OneDrive) to make it easy to import in my video editing software.

For video editing, I use Apple's Final Cut Pro X, but this is excessive in terms of editing power for my needs. I started with iMovie, which is bundled with Mac and IOS devices, and this worked fine for me.

Ideas for YouTube beginners, Youtube Studio YouTube video camera and software.

Very much inspired by Al Furtado’s (aka The Rebel Turner) YouTube video on how he improved his workshop camera setup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAVnJ44KtJ8 In this video, Al fabricates an overhead boom for his video camera.
