‘Tense’ US-Iran talks see NYMEX futures up 6.8 per cent
CommSec’s James Gruber says the Australian share market has been impacted by the “tense US-Iran talks” and the naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
“Friday’s markets were largely irrelevant because they’ve been overtaken by the weekend’s events,” Mr Gruber told Sky News Australia.
“This morning, oil was up, NYMEX futures were up 6.8 per cent.”
