Backpacking Marble Mountains: Sky High Lakes, Marble Rim, Pacific Crest Trail, Paradise Lake

~36 miles backpacking in the Marble Mountains Wilderness in the Klamath National Forest. I began at the Lovers Camp Trailhead in the late evening and hiked in the dark to a campsite on the Red Rock Creek Trail. I then followed the trail to the PCT, took a side trip to Shadow Lake, returned to the PCT and then did a loop to Big Elk Lake and on the Marble Rim Trail, then back to the PCT through Marble Valley and set up camp off-trail well above Big Rock Camp. Then an out and back trail run on the PCT past Paradise Lake and a little past Bear Lake Junction. I returned on the PCT and went through Sky High Lakes on the way back to Lovers Camp Trailhead. It was an awesome adventure!
