Great setters make it look easy 😊

Toes 👣 to the Sideline ✅

Also helps to “square up”, getting toes to the sideline helps setters locate along the net by creating a consistent positioning on the court.

Contact Pt in Front ✅

The most important way to generate power/ range on the back set is to make sure the ball is contacting IN FRONT of the setter (same as a front set!). This gives the setter contact time with the ball as they finish back. Many setters want to contact the ball beyond the but this kills their ability to create power 👎

Finish Around/Over Right Shoulder ✅

Track the ball around your right shoulder to add slight momentum OFF THE NET. This movement on the finish helps keep the ball hittable and expand the hitters window!
