Quick tips for your #volleyball serve

A few keys for your serve from @_payton_petersen

Finish into Court ✅

Your jump should carry you INTO the court. While you want to get UP on your jump float, you don’t want to fully stop your momentum. Also the closer you are the net on contact the more you can get your serve to drop IN!

Hold your Hand ✅

Hit with a FIRM hand (like giving a great high five 🖐️) and fijis flat thru the ball. Notice how her hand is up after contact (very different than a spike at the net)

Serve on a Line ✅

This serve show a very controlled serve where her approach is on the same line as the ball when it traveled across the net!

Accelerate ✅

Your last two steps should be your fastest and your steps should get fast throughout!
