Large Stirling engine running on pellet gasifier coffee can stove

I mounted my engine vertically and ran it on one of my little coffee can pellet gasifier stoves and it ran quite well! I didn't pressurize it for this video so it's just running quietly at about 315 rpm without a lot of power, but it was just fun to see it run on biomass fuel for the first time! The fan and pump draw just a tiny amount of power from the battery.

You can see details about the coffee can stove in my other videos. It is a batch-type pellet gasifier with a vortex gas flow, not a traditional TLUD. The flame wall is propagated downward through the pellets, hot wood gas is sucked out the bottom and mixed with air, then burned in the vortex at the top.
