Des de 2003 investiga i treballa amb la tecnologia per aconseguir, que presencialment o a distància, els estudiants tinguin experiències d’aprenentatge riques, socials, multiculturals i realistes d’acord amb allò que una societat evolucionada requereix.

És professor universitari a La Salle des de 1996 i, el fet de pertànyer a una institució que en gairebé 350 anys s’ha fet present a 84 països, el porta a crear i ser el primer Rector de la Universitat Oberta La Salle, la primera universitat oberta que neix per la internacionalització i la col·laboració de 74 universitats presencials.

És conferenciant habitual, autor de llibres, d’articles en premsa i articles científics sobre educació.
