Testing LiitoKala "7Ah" LiFePO4 Cells
In this episode, I test out a 4s2p arrangement of LiitoKala "7000 mAh" LiFePO4 cells. If you believe the label, this would end up with 14Ah capacity in a small package.
All in all, not what I expected. The pack works well, although it's slow to charge, but I was glad to try them out.
*Update* - I realize my calculations at the end of the video don't make much sense. I actually don't remember how long the endurance test ran, but the power analyzer measured 9.386 output until the inverter did a low-voltage cutoff. It was 2.3+ amps draw, perhaps for 4 hours.
*Update 2* - I did not take into account the power used during the high-load test in the beginning, so the total capacity for this test was 9.386 + however much used during the brief 22A draw CW test.
*Update 3* - When charging the battery after this video overnight, I used a different charger that goes to 14.6v and doesn't stop till the BMS cuts connection (instead of the Imax B6 "smart" charger that I used prior to this test). The total delivered into the battery from overnight charge was 12.039A. So it may really be a 14Ah battery or close to it.
