The CEOs of social media giants Twitter, Facebook and Alphabet Inc. - Jack Dorsey, Mark Zuckerberg and Sundar Pichai - faced a grilling by Republican senators on Wednesday who alleged that the tech giants show an anti-conservative bias on their platforms.
With the presidential election looming, Republicans led by President Donald Trump have thrown a barrage of grievances at social media platforms, which they accuse without evidence of deliberately suppressing or censoring conservative, religious and anti-abortion views.
