"BUSTED": The FAA 'tracks down' airshow pilot.

In full disclosure: AOPA, Walt Fricke, and everyone else involved knew that the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award was going to be given. All parties involved knew the radio call was going to be made. This was not AOPA's idea, but we used it as a storytelling device to set up the bigger story of Fricke's life, and his founding of the Veteran's Airlift Command. Our intent was to create a fun video that shed a spotlight on such a worthy man and charity.

Some in the aviation community have taken issue with using this lighthearted ruse as a basis for a story. We apologize if anyone was misled that this was in fact a real enforcement action.
