COLOMBIA: RODRIQUEZ OREJUELA IS ARRESTED

Colombian police launched a dawn raid in the Santa Monica - an affluent suburb of the south western city of Cali on Friday and found the drugs baron Rodriguez Orejuela. Hundreds of police had swamped the neighbourhood which was known to contain several so-called safe houses of the Cali drugs empire. Orejuela surrendered without a struggle and handed over three handguns.
