Star Trek Outlaws - Episode #1 - Abandon Hope (Blue Ray)

The crew of a deep space salvage vessel discover a derelict space craft unlike anything they had ever seen. A find this large should have meant financial security for generations, but soon they find that their lives and the lives of their entire village have been changed forever.

Caught up in a violent civil war, they must abandon their beloved village and live aboard the very ship they had salvaged.

Since this video's release I have received many positive comments. Thank you! I read every single one, and respond to many of them.
But, as you know, you can't please everybody. I understand that and accept it. And, as a rule, I do not delete negative comments. However, I do delete comments that are vulgar, hurtful, or mean spirited.
Polite, well thought out negative reviews are fine.

Also, I feel like some of the negative comments are left by individuals who do not understand what we are doing here.
Star Trek Outlaws is NOT a video production. It is an audio production with some graphics to look at while you listen. (We call it "illustrated audio") Some audio productions show you nothing but the production's logo for the entire length of the show, or maybe a few still photos in a slide show.
(I'm not knocking that. If that's what they want to do, people enjoy it. GREAT!)
But we try to go one step beyond that and show graphics that are appropriate to each scene, and we try to animate something about each graphic if possible. BUT we concentrate on the audio.
Having said that, our graphics DO get better in pretty much every episode. In later episodes we graduate from still photos of the ship that slide across the screen to 3D CGI models that look pretty darn good!

We are proud of our little band of voice actors, and our continuing story, but if they are not your cup of tea, we understand. LL&P. Go find something you love!

This just in: (7-24-2021)
One of our eagle eyed (eagle eared?) viewers pointed this out:
According to the dialog in the episode the Empire's ships "of the time had a maximum of Warp 2 which is 8 times the speed of light. A Constitution class had a maximum sustainable cruising speed of Warp 6 which is 216 times the speed of light. 216/7 = 27. The formula for converting Warp speed to light speed is Warp ^ 3 * C."
Thanks!
