We finally decided it was time to leave Cuba. Then the pandemic hit. This is our immigration story from Cuba to Panama then to Guyana for the US K1 Visa interview.

We explain the whole process, how COVID-19 effected our immigration process, and our experiences in Guyana and the K1 Interview process.

We want to add that we feel for many migrants who do not have the opportunity to do this the "legal" way as immigration in the USA is complicated, expensive, and limited to who can apply.
