Celebrate Women with The Intuitive

It's Women's History Month! And to honor women, we created this sublime cocktail - The Intuitive. The Intuitive is our drink to honor Women’s History Month in March. It also ties into February’s Black History month with an epic tale about the antecedents of whisky. Uncle Nearest is the award-winning whisky we’re going to use. It’s from Lynchburg, Tennessee — founded by an all-female executive team led by entrepreneur and historian Fawn Weaver. Through her research, Fawn uncovered that Nathan Green, known as Uncle Nearest, was a slave in the 1800s, who taught whisky distilling to Jack Daniels — who then later hired Nearest as his distiller once he was emancipated after the Civil War. To honor Nearest and Fawn’s team we created the Intuitive — by definition, the balance of gut feelings with experience – which we think fits - perfectly. Here, the balance of The Intuitive allows whiskey drinkers, and non-whiskey drinkers to both enjoy it. It combines the bold and spicy caramel and maple of Uncle Nearest with citrus and the fruity character of the Prosecco bubbles.
