4K Replay: SpaceX Falcon 9 launch and landing amid NG-23 mission

SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 6:11 p.m. EDT (2211 UTC), about an hour before sunset. The rocket carried the first Cygnus XL cargo spacecraft from Northrop Grumman.

The mission, dubbed NASA's Northrop Grumman Commercial Resupply Services 23 or NG-23 for short, carried 11,000 pounds (4,990 kg) of supplies onboard the spacecraft, bound for the International Space Station.

The rocket's booster, tail number B1094, flew for a fourth time and touched down at Landing Zone 2 (LZ-2) at the Cape less than eight minutes after liftoff.
