In 2007 in an interview with Firpo Carr, Michael Jackson said the following: “I believe in God...I gain strength from God. I believe in Jehovah God very much. I believe in God and love God.”

Rumor: Michael converted to the Islam religion at the end of his life.

Truth: Thats false information. And Only God knows at the end of the day what was really on his heart.

According to his brother Jermaine even though he wished his brother had converted to Islam he never did. Jermaine Jackson said on on Al-Arabiya TV on January 21, 2010. “I tried to convert Michael to Islam.”

“I just wish he would have embraced Islam. I tried very very hard, because I think that would have been his protection.” Later added “I just wish that he would have made that announcement.”

“One thing about Michael is that he reads everything.” - Jermaine Jackson. Michael loved to read and learn about all kinds of religions just to know how they think and understand people better (Thought recollected from the PrimeTime interview). He just learned about Islam because of his brother and respected it just like any other religion. But again like Jermaine stated in his book: “You can not tell Michael what to do.” And in BBC News Jermaine said: “I felt that if Michael would have embraced Islam he would of still be here with us today.” Meaning that Michael did not embrace it because he said “if Michael would have” and its normal for a brother to hope. And Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) said: “Contrary to the persistent press rumors, I was not at any kind of conversion ceremony. Nor, I believe, was Dawud Wharnsby or any others mentioned in the connection with the story.”

Its only fair to say that only God knows what was in his heart at the end of his life since according to Firpo Carr, Michael wanted his kids to study the Bible in a future but with the Witnesses. And Michael not only had islamic bodyguards but also Jehovah Witnesses maids and from other religions too. And there are notes from Michael studying the Bible by himself in 2008. But as far as what religion Michael was at the end of his life according to his family and friends he was from none at the time. But he respected all kinds of religions and thats something we all should do. Respect all kinds of religions and do not throw hate to any. And a spoke man of Michael Jackson said the following in an interview: “The statement by Jermaine could be more a reflection of his beliefs than the beliefs of Michael Jackson. I don’t think we can draw definitive conclusion from his brother statement.” And I totally agree with that because is the truth. We can not draw any definitive conclusion about what Michael beliefs were at the end of his life. Only God knows what was in his heart.
