String Ray

This String Ray toy was bought back in 1995, and it says on the box - 'the light show with a twist'.

The toy contains three electric motors. Two are responsible for making the string revolve, and a third motor drives the colour wheel.

The revolving string creates a succession of interesting three dimensional shapes in space. The lighting effects only enhance the overall light show.

The controls allow you to vary the speed of the string and also control the colours. Alternatively you can press the automatic button, and String Ray will take control, producing an ever changing display of colourful shapes and patterns.
