Isle of Burra, Shetland
The Isle of Burra is a slither of land on the west of Shetland's mainland to which it is joined by bridges. We walk over the tombolo to its southernmost point, then see a restored croft house and an early Christian site. The tombolo and the croft ruins on Kettla Ness featured in Series 6 Episode 5 of the BBC Shetland drama.
