Back pain can be due to multiple reasons. Dr Naveen Sharma here explains that back pain can be due to two reasons
1. Mechanical back pain which is increases with activity but decreases with rest.
2. Inflammatory back pain which increases with rest.
So the following are various causes of BAck pain.
1. Postural back pain due to prolonged sitting in the wrong position or driving for long hours or heavy weight lifting.
2. Back pain of sciatica which is due to disc herniation in the spine. This pain is not limited to the back but goes to the leg also. It can be diagnosed with an MRI.
3. Inflammatory pain can be due to disease like TB, Infection or tumour in the spine.

3. Avoid weight gain and weight lifting
4.Use back support during sitting and driving
5. Muscle relaxant and hot water fomentation
