The S1 Shin Protectors utilise a clever little underlayer system, which means that they give the pad a better fit, more comfort and less moving about inside your sock. It's a really good alternative to a regular sock.

We also looked at the achilles and ankle protector, which attaches separately to the foot. It's made of neoprene and fits snugly, giving your ankle a little extra support. Overall, we'd recommend both products, if you haven't yet found a shin pad system that works for you.
