Honda Rubicon DCT Gear Reduction

First DCT reduction I’ve done and it was successful. Getting all the clutches lined up and slide down on the input shaft was a pain, separating the case and spacer sucked as the sub transmission shaft pulled out with the spacer case. Had to line up the oil pump, water pump and sub transmission shaft. replaced all the o rings that we could, for some reason it was a pain in the ass finding all the orings through part schematics. Mild spacer grinding, best part it’s not on the motor!!!. 3 hr assembly time after all cleaned up, 2 people preferably to help seat case cover and spacer as the dowels are a tight fit. As of this video 3 hrs of trail riding and no issues. This bike has had the centrifugal clutch blackened from heat, this gear reduction will reduce the load on the centrifugal clutch but add torque to the DCT clutch’s. this owner loves to rip in high range with the 30 inch wides, this seams like the perfect combo and he can put the big tires on and turn them in low range if he wants.

Love gear reduction boss products, this gear set meshed perfectly and doesn’t whine like a bastard like my 60% in the footshift ruby.
