We are here again with another Shopify video and I will be showing you an easy Google Merchant Center Shopify verification tutorial! Let's get your Shopify store verified today!

In this video, I will show you how to verify and claim your Shopify website in Google Merchant Center. It's very easy and you can get your Shopify store verified in under 5 minutes!

Here are the steps to verify your Shopify website in Google Merchant Center:
1. Verify your website by going to Google Merchant Center and clicking on the Settings icon in the top right corner. Navigate to Business information, then choose Website.
2. Next, put in your website URL and make sure to include https:// then click Save
3. You will then provided three options to verify the Shopify URL you have added, but I recommend to choose the third one "I have access to my server" because it's the easiest. This option will require adding a bit of a code but I will walk you through it in this video, so don't worry!
4. Next step is to choose "Add an HTML tag to my homepage," which will require you to go to your Shopify store to verify your Shopify store.
5. Just copy the code and add it in Shopify.

To add the code in your Shopify store, you need to:
1. Go to your Shopify dashborad, then navigate to Online Store, then Themes.
2. Choose Edit Code from the drop down then go to theme.liquid
3. Paste the code you got from Google Merchant Center before the head.
5. Go back to Google Merchant Center and click VERIFY. And that's it! You have successfully verified Shopify in Google Merchant Center.

The next step is to claim your website URL. Just click Claim URL and you're good to go!
