2008 2009 Ford Taurus Sable Ambient air temp sensor location

This part is located on the frame at the center bumper area. No special tools are needed. You should try cleaning the contacts first since it is exposed to the elements. You simply lift up on the two side tabs and pull the sensor out.
This part should not be confused with the ECT temp sensor that is another part. It's best to use original Motorcraft parts. Hope this helps you with your auto repairs. Good Luck!
