Here's Part 2 of the early edition of The Sunday News on WBBM Channel 2, anchored by Bob Wallace. Also featuring Janet Langhart. Includes:

Bob reading or introducing the following items:

- State Rep. Bernard Epton (GOP-Chicago) proposes changing drunk-driving penalties from the current 7 days in jail to 2 days; a film clip of him speaking about his proposal with an offscreen Harry Porterfield is shown.

- Janet Langhart (first black "weathergirl" for WBBM-TV) with the weather forecast for the next 24 hours, and predicting that March will "go out like a lamb."

- Telephone service disrupted in an industrial area of Skokie due to somebody throwing a flare into a junction box; service was out beginning 10:30pm on the 27th and was not restored until 6:30am; a Northern Illinois Bell spokesperson said the box was almost totally burned out

About The Museum of Classic Chicago Television:

The Museum of Classic Chicago Television's primary mission is the
preservation and display of off-air, early home videotape recordings (70s
and early 80s, primarily) recorded off of any and all Chicago TV channels;
footage which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved
digitally.  Even though (mostly) short clips are displayed here, we
preserve the entire broadcasts in our archives - the complete programs
with breaks (or however much is present on the tape), for historical
purposes.  For information on how to help in our mission, to donate or
lend tapes to be converted to DVD, and to view more of the 3,700+ (and
counting) video clips available for viewing in our online archive, please
