Acer Predator Helios 300 - Screen Upgrade

By request I've created a How -To change/upgrade the screen for the Acer Predator Helios 300.

The Helios has been confirmed to take screen upgrades and the highest I've seen done is 120hz.
Note: It has a 30 pin EDP connection

This one apparently has brightness control issues when using the hardware FN key combinations to control brightness.. Someone had started using redshiftGUI allows for brightness control but I don't think it's worth getting this panel of it doesn't work with the hardware out of box.
I'm leaving the link here just in case someone decides to look for a panel and finds it and doesn't know about the hardware limitation.

My model is PH-317-51 the 17.3" model so my bezel will look different then the 15" but the same methods apply.

I've heard the 17" model Helios can take the Predator 17's screen at 75hz but G-Sync doesn't function due to Intel GPU's connection to the monitor. (75hz upgrade)
